The Capuchin Crypt contains the remains of 150 members of the Habsburg family. The crypt rooms, as they appear today, are the result of numerous renovations and extensions. Not all of the sarcophagi have been preserved throughout history; some of the deceased had to be reburied. However, an authentic picture of the times and art history remains:
